Master Class: Working with Resistance to Leverage Organisational Effectiveness
This 2-day workshop is intended for executives and leaders who desire to enhance their ability to recognise different forms of resistances in organisational settings and to work with these resistances as energy for organisational effectiveness. Existing work-teams will find it helpful in supporting their mutual development and teamwork. Supervisors, Coaches and Mentors, Change Management consultants and Team Leaders will find the workshop highly enriching.
The workshop seeks to broaden understanding about resistance as an engagement process, a positive energy that can be harnessed for organisation and system effectiveness. It also provides awareness about a broader repertoire of responses and ways of engaging with resistance that would enhance system performance. Attention is paid to resistance at different levels of system: individual, sub-group, group, organization and societal levels.
The emergence of resistance as a boundary management or contacting process and its relationship with unfinished business and the cycle of experience is explored with the intent to locate resistance as a natural process in leadership transitions, organisation development and change management.
